In SHD, are all analog outs (XLR and RCA) active at the same time. Can one connect 4 pairs of active speakers to all 8 outputs at the same time?

Yes, but remember the SHD only has 4 channels so the RCA's and XLR's mirror each other. You wont be able to control all 8 analogue outputs individually.

The output voltage is also different between XLR (4v) and RCA (2v)
