Hello

I would like to know if the SHD will auto turn on on receiving a trigger signal.
I intend to connect it between my Sim Audio Moon 390 Network / DAC/ Pre amp and the Simaudio Moon 330a power amp .
Is there a standby more for the SHD and will come on when it receives a signal from the Pre amp ?

Any ideas?

Thanks

@srkamath

In answer to your question, it won't. You will need to use some 3rd party device to control whole system on/off.. Maybe use an universal remote? e.g. Harmony Logitech is a great choice!

Hello

I got hold of the Logitech Harmony remote. Harmony 650. Is there any software based on off switch on the Harmony Remote to switch off the power? I could not find any on the remote.

Thanks

Interesting statement by devteam....
As far as I can see there is no chance to put a SHD (Studio) in standby mode. Or are there any remote codes (or shortcuts) that are not published ?

It would be great if miniDSP could give us the API of the SHD series so that we could try to control the device with http-requests using the WI-DG. This should give a lot of possibilities.

I own the shd studion and a harmony hub. The harmony hub also has no option to power on/ off the device. Basically the same option as on the standard remote.

Dear All

Sorry for the confusion for above. The standby mode isn't implemented in IR yet. We've got this planned in our TODO list. We'll make sure to push it in the future firmware. THanks for your patience.
