I own an SHD-studio and recently upgraded to Dirac 2. Works great.
Is it possible to rename filter presets? Would be nice with custom names showing up in the display like: Quiet listening, Movie etc. Ideally the same name as given in the Dirac Live software before exporting to the slot in SHD.

@Stare

Do you mean on the front panel GUI?
Unfortunately we don't have that feature but we can think of it for the future. :-)

Yes, instead of the number. Would be a lot easier to remember

+1 would love to be able to rename the presets. Even if they had to be limited in character number.
Being able to rename inputs would be a bonus!

I know this is old but yes!  Use a 2x4 HD and renaming configurations would be great!

+1. The ability to rename the presets would be awesome. It's hard to remember what 1, 2, 3, 4 is when you're always messing around with them.

Sounds like a lot of support for that change.

I will be moving to a new laptop shortly.  Does anyone know if you can copy say the minidsp directory in docs to a new PC so you start at the same place when you first connect to the minidsp from a new computer?

Or do I have to export all 4 presets, carefully import those 4 presents and then sync.

So scary!!!!!

And then when I get that box saying do you want to do A or B when there is a mismatch, I am just not sure what to hit!!  :)
I just want it left the way it was the last time I was connected.

Now, anytime I do anything I just save that preset or export it or whatever with some huge name and date so I have it.

I love the product but the sync and save process and presets need some enhancing.

Good question. But I think you cannot do an export, at least not from the SHD to the PC software, I think.

Haha, yes. I know what you mean. I am always unsure which option to choose, too.
