Hi Devteam,

once all updates to firmware etc. have been made, in case one finds incompatibility in some component to run Dirac 2.0 - is the update process reversible, so if one needs it, can one roll back to previous versions of firmware, drivers, plugins etc.?

um the firmware version is actually the same, v1.1.

And the latest software realise includes both the current direct live software and the older version too ... I have one filter slot with a Dirac Live 2.0 filter and another one with a Dirac 1.0 filter in it ...

Did you also try to use Dirac 1 for updating the slots after you had made the updates?

I am about to receive my SHD and currently I am unsure about what software versions to use with it, since some people (including yourself?) report difficulty with systems running fine before.

to be honest if people just follow the manual and read the download page correctly they’ll be fine.

The audio quality seems to also be slightly better with Dirac 2.0, I noticed a better soundstage and clearer vocals vs Dirac v1 probably due to the enhanced phase correction feature

well i have looked forward to this update of Dirac sadly it doesn't work unless you have macOS mojave and my windows machine runs 8.1 a new computer with windows 8.1 so no updates available you need netframework 3.5 so with this setup Dirac will not work so im kind of f... i hate windows 10 with a passion so this is not an option for me Minidsp i need a patch !!

If you have a Mac OS version that is older than Mojave you may try using Dirac Live 2.2 instead that can be downloaded from here:
live.dirac.com/all-released-versions/
