Mine streams via Wifi.

In my case, I connected it through USB.

And it works? So is it possible to get the shd studio recognized by the dirac 2 through usb?

I think everyone’s problem is software based etc ... you can’t just launch Direct Live 2.0 or it will fail to find the device. You need to launch the SHD plugin app first, it works like a virtual interface to the software to enable the USB connected device to be seen

Dirac Live 2 doesn't find any devices when activated from the plugin for me either. Clearly the SHD is findable because the plugin talks to it
And yes, I've installed the XMOS firmware, refreshed the DSP etc. This is on a Windows 10 PC that didn't have any of the software on it before. I have another Windows 10 PC with another SHD with the older software using Dirac Live 1.

Exactly the same here entripy and I'm on a Mac with Mac os Mojave. The plugin is the right one and I press the button on the right for opening dirac live 2, I'm not opening dirac live 2 straight from its own app

I was able to resolve my issues (SHD Studio not fount on Mac Sierra), by upgrading to Mojave. Now it recognises the SHD Studio (connected via USB).

Are you still doing this on Windows 7? It needs to be Windows 10.

Clicking 'Start Dirac Live Software' does nothing for me. I'm on 1.7d2 and can connect to the device. Running DiracLive from it's own shortcut leads to it not finding a device. I'm on Windows10
When I initially installed Dirac, I was able to get it to recognise the SHD, but not today for some reason. very odd.

Start it from SHD !

Yes, that button does nothing (well it will disconnect the SHD) but doesn't launch the Dirac software.

I uninstalled 'Dirac Live' and re-installed it while connected to the SHD and now it can find it again.
EDIT: and now it can;t find it again....

EDIT: I got it working, I think it hadn't set the path to Dirac up properly, I edited the preference.xml I found in \Documents\MiniDSP\SHD\user to point at the correct file and now it works.
They should add a check so that if Dirac doesn't launch, it prompts you to re-path.

hallelujah ... now is working also on my PC ... on win7 !!!
Didn't touch actually anything since 2 days. Just started it now and it works. At least Dirac connects to SHD
