Proving what measurement of certain units is (like noise, distortion, jitter) is good to do, but does not prove good sound. Beeky has done both measurements and listening and has experience in the strengths and weaknesses of both. Listening tests are subjective, and have weaknesses, but are important, and good to do. Time is limited, so we do what we think is best, and can not do everything.

Measurements of a DAC's output will prove whether or not changing a stock PSU for an after market PSU on a digital transport or DAC makes an audible difference, period. There's no ambiguity measuring the influence of a PSU as there is with uncontrolled listening tests.

Beekhuyzen makes a living from the views on his YouTube channel. The more products he reviews and viewers he attracts, the more revenue he receives from the advertising and/or his donations. Debunking products that don't make audible differences by showing measurements would not be in his commercial interests as it would reduce the number of products he receives for review thus reducing his audience and revenue. He is a "school drop out" who made his way as a salesman in the high end then pro audio business's then as a publisher of an audio magazine.

Good luck to the guy but you should pay more attention to the designers of the SHD Studio who have the equipment and knowledge to understand what makes audible differences rather than listening to a guy with dubious technical acumen and motives making a living on YouTube.

Holy cow. I did not intend for things to get so ugly and dark. I better leave it alone.

Or perhaps re-read what the manufacturers told you:

"Knowing the SHD Studio is all digital, you’d want to pay attention to the power supply of your 3rd party DACs for your concerns I believe."
