Seems there is a limitation of 10,000 titles for volumio, if you want to create a database from a mounted device (NAS).

I have way above 40,000 titles on my nas and rescan of the mounted filespace fails and starts again after 9,980 titles.

Can someone confirm this?

I've just added a network drive (*) and it's over 10,000 and still counting. [Edit] Errr... a few minutes later and it seems to have restarted the count. I'm not sure where it got up to. Are you running the Oct 24th version? (1.01 I think)

(*) Normally I use DLNA. It may be something you want to look into for a large library anyway.

I have 35000 tracks on my NAS. The first time I want to create a database the counting stops every time. Volumio is very critical with the kind of files are on your NAS. If there is any *.vob or x264 or H264 file, Volumio stops indexing.

So search for files that ar not music related and remove them from the Volumio map and try it again.

Thanks for the trick @ roksan1970
We can mention it to Volumio team for the future... Something worth investigating how the filtering of files works.
