This is my first post so pls be kind..

I want to manually copy Linkwitz's LXmini filter settings into REW to play with them. The 2 x 4 GUI shows only 3 filter options - HIGH-SHELF, LOW-SHELF, and PEAK.

(there should be a bunch more right?).

REW has LS & HS options for minidsp, but it doesn't allow Q to be adjusted. So I can't accurately transfer the settings from the 2 x 4 to REW.
Help, Dan

Ok, so REW is a measurement and design tool, and the miniDSP is ...well, let's call it a deployment tool. Normally, you take the results from your design tool, and put them into your deployment tool.

So, I don't know what the experts on the Linkwitz speaker designs would say (I am not one of them), but it seems to me that the approach you should be taking if you want to roll your own filters is measure your drivers and design the filters/crossovers etc.

I'm not sure what the objective here is either, but this query already answered on the OPLUG forum.

Q definitions, shelving filter parameters, etc, etc, vary across many DSP platforms and simulation programs, so some sort of translation comparisons usually don't work out......initially.

Normally, you take the results from your design tool, and put them into your deployment tool.

I have SL's recommended minidsp settings and would like to use them as a reference, but since I modified my LXminis somewhat (I used a 6" pipe instead of 4" and removed the pipe behind the FR drivers because they are 6 feet from the wall behind the speakers) I need to make some minor adjustments. But the GUI on the minidsp only allows for HS, LS & PEAK filters which hardly get me close to an acceptable curve, and neither does REW without the HS & LS with Q options. IF REW would provide these it would solve the problem.
