It sounds like an REW question? Correct?
Maybe send us some screenshots as it's a bit hard to understand what you're after here.. We're assuming that you've read REW user manual? A good first step.

Spl = db

Spl is in db so a graph couldn't be made if the same thing was in both axis's . It would be impossible to measure the same thing against itself (unless it's multidimensional i.e. Length and width. The waterfall chart adds a dimension so that you can visualize time . A graph needs at least two variables. A chart only requires one and can be cut into many pieces by adding values.
