PWR-ICE125 and PWR-ICE250 amplifiers have Stereo Digital: AES-EBU (XLR).

Is there any D/A- and/or A/D- conversion using this Stereo Digital: AES-EBU input?

What does this mean:"A digital input (AES-EBU/SPDIF) combined with a Sample Rate Converter (44.1~216kHz) saves on the A-D conversion"? www.minidsp.com/images/documents/Product%20Brief-PWR-ICE125.pdf

Are these amplifiers true digital PCM-to-PWM?

It means that when you use the AES/EBU digital input then the signal doesn't pass through an ADC before the DSP. So when using that input, the signal flow is:

(AES/EBU) -> ASRC -> DSP -> DAC -> 125ASX2 (ICEpower) -> Speakers

HTH :)

And what about analog signal inputs?

Is there a ADC -> xxx -> DAC in front of the analog inputs of the 125/250ASX2 (ICEpower) for analog inputs?
There must be one for DSP?!?
Can this bypassed?
Is there a signal path for analog signals bypassing DSP using directly analog inputs on the 125/250ASX2 (ICEpower)?

Is it possible to use external DACs directly on the (analog) inputs of the 125/250ASX2 (ICEpower) modules built in PWR-ICE125/250 modules?

Or in other words: Is it possible to bypass all signal processing and conversions for analog inputs? To have an external DAC being the final DAC.

Second issue:
What does this mean: "Converter resolution / Sample rate 24bit / 96kHz (higher sample rate available with custom configuration)"?

Does DSP work at 24bit / 96kHz?

Can this be configured on the board?

You may find it helpful to have a read of the user manual, that may describe the amps better than the datasheet.
