Connecting PWR-ICE125WD to miniDSP 4x10HD w/XLR 7 years 2 months ago #26681

Is it possible to connect the output from the miniDSP 4x10 directly to the signal input on the ICEpower board, without the small I/O card?

The datasheet for ASX125 says:
"The single ended input buffer has an anti-aliasing filtering and
a DC blocking capacitor. The input impedance of the signal input
section is minimum 8kΩover the audio bandwidth, which
is an acceptable loading condition for pre-amps, active crossover
outputs etc. "

Hello

I'm afraid that I don't think that you'd be able to. You need a buffer at the input of that circuit. (need unbalanced signal and correct impedance matching). We'd recommend that you keep that little circuit that handles power circling, mute, BTL/SE correctly.
