Hello,

after checking on minidsp site I've a question about the best quality active loudspeaker system.

My question is: is it better to use a Power-ice125 with its own DSP or for better results it is more interesting a Power-ice125WD together with MiniDSP 2x4 HD?

What are the pros and cons of this two combination?

Thanks in advance for your suggestion........

@ Fabri,

Good question indeed.. :-) It all depends what you're after...
- The 2x4HD has more power in terms of IO (USB/Toslink/Analog) and DSP power (i.e. FIR support), however it's less integrated I guess. (need more cabling to each speakers)
- The PWR-ICE is more integrated (less wiring) as all audio processing is happening inside each DSP platform. but doesn't have FIR.
