Hey folks, just a quick question. I didn't see it addressed. I've seen a few places mention that there could possibly be duty / import fees associated with shipping these to the US, I was curious if anyone had any idea what the fees could be, or did I read bad information?

I'm putting together a build cost for my next speaker, and I've decided to use 250 modules, but the budget is razor sharp. If I get any surprise import or duty bills of a significant amount, I could be in trouble.

I don't know the answer to your question, but you could get them from Madisound in the US:

I did consider that, the only trouble is, it's a difference of $210 for the three I need.

Is the suggestion that the import fees could really balloon the price by that much? I hope not, I really wanted to use these things.

The Customs Reauthorization Bill, which went into effect March 10, 2016, raised the "de minimus" from $200 to $800. You don't pay duties on items (non-restricted commodities) worth less than $800. I purchased a watch that I had shipped from Japan for close to $800, and I paid $0 in taxes as you would expect.

Thanks, Obama! :D
