Hello,

I just bought a PWR-ICE125 as a plate amplifier for my (sealed) subwoofer. To deal with some room nodes I want to use multiple PEQ-settings with decimal frequencies and high Q values equivalent to - or better defined as a replacement for - EQ settings I (until now) used in my Amarra software player. For instance: FREQ 25.6 Hz, ATTN (gain) -7.2, Q 98.0. How is this possible? With the use of biquads or with an imported REW filter? In the basic settings panel the maximum Q-value is 5 and it is only possible to choose non-decimal frequencies.

Thanks in advance for a suggestion.

Alex

Alex,

Most likely a typo but max Q on the PWR-ICE is 50 (not 5) and you can choose any decimal value for Q/Gain.
First time we ever hear of a Q of 98? That seems quite odd for a filter... :-)

If you need that kind of Q, best to use the custom biquad indeed.
