Seems to be some problems with it working with certain devices.
Will this work with a Dish Network receiver?

Thanks,
Moto

Hi there, the question to ask is whether the device will output linear PCM over HDMI.

If I'm looking at the right manual, it says "The HDMI or optical output can provide two audio data types—Dolby® Digital and Linear PCM (only DolbyDigital can provide full 5.1-channel sound)." Further down, the manual indicates that with Dolby Digital input and PCM output, the output is a downmix i.e. stereo.

So it seems that that receiver is not able to feed multichannel audio through the nanoAVR, but it will feed stereo audio / downmix through the nanoAVR. You should verify/confirm this for yourself with the exact device that you have.

Hope this helps :)
