Help! I can't figure this out. My 2x4HD shows up on my Windows laptop as an sound device so I can easily select it in REW. However, my new nanoAVR HD doesn't show up a sound device. It should, right? What am I doing wrong? Is there a separate Windows driver that I need to install (other than the nanoAVR plugin)? - Thanks

no, you're not doing anything wrong. The nanoAVR is not an USB audio device. Hook it up via HDMI and it should be OK

Thanks for your reply. Sorry to be dense here but how do I connect my laptop (running REW) to the nanoAVR HD? Do I need some kind of HDMI sound card to do this? That's the real issue here. I want to use REW with a UMIK-1 to create filters that I can import into the nanoAVR.

does your laptop have an HDMI port? connect the nanoAVR to that and it should work (set the hdmi as audio device in REW)
