I am toying with the idea, to upgrade my NanoAvr HDA to DiracLive. Reading the Dirac manual, I see that after the upgrade I can only load filters into the NanoAvr via the Dirac interface which of course only accepts its own type of session files that contain the Dirac filters.
Would it be possible to re-package REW filters in a way that they look like Dirac filters and the software would install them? Or use other software that would allow a manual filter design that could somehow be loaded via the Dirac interface into the NanoAvr?

Well, you can manually change the target curve, would that work for what you want to do?

John,
Good suggestion, that I can do. But I would still prefer be able to manipulate filters more manually.

You can load REW filters into PEQ /Advanced settings in Dirac Live after your DL measurement - just use UNUSED presets starting w 10

Does that work for DiracLive in the NanAvr DL too?

nanoAVR DL doesn't have all that extra processing. I vaguely recall there was some discussion a while back about adding it to the nanoAVR DL (in the context of "bass management") and devteam said not enough DSP power. Perhaps a search would turn it up.

We can confirm that the nanoAVR DL doesn't support manual EQ support I'm afraid.
It's 8ch Dirac live in, 8ch dirac live out. No GUI control for additional DSP I'm afraid.

Like many others, I am interested in Dirac 2.0 for a 5.1 system. Am I correct to assume that it is possible to have a new nanoAvr-DL product using hdmi connections with the new Dirac 2.0 and bass management announced for CIDEA 2019 to get bass managed without the "theoritical" flaw of having the EQ upstream instead of downstream the crossover?

Quite an assumption  Why would you assume that?

If I understood well the new dirac, it takes into count 2 woofers at a time, one of the sub and another of a speaker. I know nothing in electronics but I thought that it could solve where the bass management should take place in the chain when nano is between the source and the receiver.

Oh I see. Sorry it's taking me a while to parse. Interesting thought.
