I'm considering purchasing an nanoAVR HD to use with my nanoAVR DL. It will be used primarily for bass management. Can someone give me a procedure on how to calibrate my system with both units being used. I didn't see anything on the minidsp website referencing this. My main questions are:

1. Where in the best place in the chain to put the nanoAVR HD?
2. Do I configure the bass management first and then calibrate with the nanoAVR DL?
3. Do I set the time delays (latency) and levels in the nanoAVR HD or is this automatically done during the calibration by the nanoAVR DL?
4. Do I set all time delays and levels in my AVR to zero?

Please feel free to address other issues with this that I may be overlooking. I'm trying to work out in my mine if this will work for my set-up before I purchase a nanoAVR HD.

My set-up is as follows: OPPO 203 > nanoAVR DL > Emotiva UMC-200 > Amps

I first had an Nanoavr HD and after a couple of years i added an Nanoavr DL and its pretty straight forward.
I have the DL unit first in the chain so the sweep from DL unit goes thru Bm in the second unit.

So on the HD unit, follow the different guides you will find here to get the correct timing and set BM and lvl:s after your needs/taste.
On my subs i have lowered a room mode @ 30hz a couple of db otherwise the DL unit thinks im measuring to load otherwice the HD unit only acts as BM.

When your done hook up the DL unit and proceed.
