Very odd indeed. So we understand, fully working nanoAVR DL, you perform a firmware upgrade and Dirac doesn't work anymore afterward? Did you make sure to restore all to default the unit using the plugin before hand?

when you open the nanoAVR DL utility program, connect to the unit, you should be prompted with a "RESTORE TO DEFAULT". You did upgrade both the Dirac live software, firmware, nanoAVR DL utility. Correct? You need to do all 3.
