I'm curious: about two years ago, at CES 2015, miniDSP announced a product called the nanoAVR DLA - which you can think of either as a nanoAVR DL with analogue outputs, or as a nanoAVR HDA with Dirac processing.

But despite the announcement saying it would be launched within months, it doesn't seem to actually exist!

Does anyone know what happened to it, and if miniDSP has any intention of introducing something like it in the future?

It would fill a useful niche. The nanoAVR DL needs something else downstream of it to do D/A conversion and bass management; and, while you could use a nanoAVR HDA for that, it contains a lot of stuff you wouldn't use in that configuration, like decoding compressed audio and parametric EQ. Plus, it's nice to get everything in one box!
