I'm really interested in audio with a passing interest in video.

I'd like to use the nanoAVR DA with a computer HDMI as one input and a Chromecast / HOME as the second. HDMI output would go to a monitor (no sound) and the analogue output to a miniLX system. (2 2-way speakers & a single sub). The miniLX system is already designed to be driven my a miniDSP algorithm (2x4).

I would use the outputs to drive a five channel amp which would drive the 2 speakers (one amp channel per speaker) with a mix output to the sub. The output would need to include a crossover, EQ and bass management.

Can the nanoAVR HDA do this?

I believe all this is right up the HDAs alley but want to make sure I'm not missing something.

@ guisar

Knowing the nanoAVR HDA splits the processed analog output to "both" the HDMI out and the analog out (8ch), it will indeed be perfectly fine to do so.

Note that for your LXmini, that configuration is typically 48k (2x4 DSP). The nanoAVR HDA runs at 96k so you'll need to look at a 2x4HD configuration file (I believe that it exist... )
