This might be a very silly newbie question but I recently bought a nanoavr HDA and plan to upgrade it to a DLA. I want to use only four speakers (FL,FR, plus 2 surrounds) and no sub. The channels will run via two separate amps (using the analog outs) without any AV functionality. Does Dirac or the general nanoavr plugin allow me to split the sound of the center to the FL and FR channels so that I don't need to buy an extra center?

My understanding is that you cannot upgrade the HDA to "DLA".

At any rate, even if you could, there is no routing in the Dirac Live version. It's just 1-1.

John is indeed correct. You can't upgrade to DLA I'm afraid (no firmware/software support for miniDAC8 on the Dirac build).
maybe in the future, we could see if that's possible or not..
