I'm really wondering if I could use this device to run an "active" stereo setup.

What I think I can do with it, but I would like confirmation please,

I want to connect my dreambox ( this is also my mediaplayer ) and a BD player to my receiver with the nano avr hda as crossover, usin the analog outputs to my multichannel input of my receiver ( Sony QS )

Can I route the inputs left and right to lf+lb / rf+rb, and use the outputs on my amplifier for each individual driver? Like lf=left woofer lb=left tweeter

Basically what the car dsp is used for, but now in home with hdmi as input signal ( does it accept stereo input signal over hdmi? )

Thanks! :D

Hi, if you search the forum for "gonzo" you should turn up an active crossover project using nanoAVRs (using HDMI inputs of the AVR).

I only use 5,1, so im rerouting L/R to the channals i dont use and let them take my tweeters.
So as a digital filter Nano Works Great and sounds way better then an active filter
Now im waiting for Nano wit +11 channals so i can do the same thing with my center
