Hi,

I want to program a remote to just switch between the two different inputs on my Nano but I can't see an obvious way to do this. I can see how to switch filters etc. in the utility program but on the learning part for HDMI Source it only gives one option. Is this just a toggle command?

From memory yes, it's a toggle.

@ Tony,

It's indeed a toggle for the IR programming. We can include HDMI in1/HDMI in2 as an IR command in the future.

Yes i desperately need IR codes to do just this with my clients URC MX880 remotes... telling them they have to use a phone app is going to be problematic... and please make it a discrete code so it wont become out of sync.. discreet ON/OFF would be nice too...

Im really pushing your Dirac Live components in my high end systems but lack of IR codes makes it a more difficult sale, especially when trying to convince them that MINIDSP is better than Audessy and the like ... I also use TOTAL CONTROL so IP control is also an option....and on that note if your really serious about integration, MINIDSP should be working on a 2 way control module for URC TOTAL CONTROL

@ rts100x5

THanks for the feedback on your integration project. We'll keep updated when we get a new firmware to provide that feature.

Well done folks - it'll be an extremely useful facility for those of us who need to run macros in our home cinema systems.

I have studied the Infra Red tutorial and I can see the Utility definitely needs and update... Instead of TOGGLE HDMI SOURCE it needs to be a learn DISCRETE HDMI 1 , HDMI 2 .... Toggle commands always winds up out of sync at some point and this is unacceptable at the client / custom remote control level ....PLEASE correct this issue ..thank you

@ rts100x5,

Yes, we did warned the engineers already as mentioned before.. :-) It's unfortunately not possible for us to change firmware on demand for each request (else they would never stop issuing new firmware when we have more than 30products). We need to combine features/process together and then release new firmware. Thanks for your patience, we will look into it as promised :=-)

Programming the NANO DL was pretty easy - however since no discrete codes exist for HDMI1 and 2 it mus toggle .... I know this is known issue - we are trying a 5 port HDMI switch in front of the NANO - one that has discrete codes ... THe first unit was programmed sucessfully but was not passing 7.1 audio from the FIOS STB ... a new switch will arrive today and I will report on the results....
