Hello all,

Do we have any NanoAVR DL owners, who would like to share their experience with it? How is usability, sound quality, set-up, etc? I'm still on the fence to be honest, mostly because I have an 11.1 system where upto 6 channels are upmixed channels from 5.1 or 7.1 sources. I guess there are ways to get around this, such as using the internal EQ in the amp to correct as much as possible then let DIRAC only do the fine-tuning, as 4 of the channels are only carrying sound reflection data (Yamaha Cinema DSP).

Anyhow, please share experiences? Is everyone in front of their system watching movies, hence being so quiet? :D

Hee hee! I don't have a DL (yet), just a couple of HDs. But that's exactly what I've been doing. Every now & then you gotta close the hood and take 'er for a spin!

-- Jim, enjoying the best sounding rig I've ever owned, and it ain't even finished yet!

I seem to have gone down the rabbit-hole a bit with this stuff, using 2 nanoAVR HDs to make a full-active surround setup. There's a rather long-winded account of my progress in this thread:

www.minidsp.com/forum/nanoavr-support/97...zo-scenario-number-1

I am in the process of compiling a more coherent summary of the pros & cons of this approach, which I will post soon. Meanwhile, I'd also be interested in hearing reviews from other nanoAVR DL owners.

Oh yes I've read it now. You've gone to great lengths to have a great set-up. Well done :-)

Hi!
I'm a newbee to Nanoavr DL! Please forgive me my english if it sometimes may sound weired, because i'm a german.
Just received my nanoavr DL today and got it running?!
Not 100% sure, because after i've measured my room acoustics with Dirac DL, optimited the curve, then tried to get the saved optimized curves into the nanoavr, Dirac DL raised a failure message: "Operation failed (Result_kFailed)".
Has onyone in this forum an idea what's wrong with that?
