Hi,

for an application I like to read 32 MEMS microphone channels into a computer. The MCHStreamer shows an TDM24 Mode leaving J1 pins 7 and 8 unused. IMHO it should pe possible to output Ch 25-31 from pin 7 and input Ch 25-31 to pin 8. The oder modes like I2S, PDM, ADAT and DSD all use pins 7 and 8 so is there any possiblity to change firmware to get in eight more TDM channels additionally?

Thank you!

I would also see a great benefit in using 32 channels in TDM mode.
Is this technically possible to integrate in the firmware?
Is it possible to suggest this as a new feature that miniDSP includes it? Or is it possible to extend the capability as a user? Any possibility we can modify the firmware?

Sorry for my delayed comment - the issue has been raised up more than two years ago. I guess the limitation is by using USB 2.0 instead of USB 3.0 that would of course allow 32 channels auf 48kHz/24bit if not higher sample frequencies. Anyway the chip supports USB 3.0 so we shall use another hardware like this for 32 channels TDM I/O: www.diyinhk.com/shop/audio-kits/175-2805...9-esd_protection-2kv . I could do so successfully.
