Hi,

I would like to use the 8ch DSD firmware to feed my DAC both PCM and DSD streams but it appears the pinout is incompatible with most 8ch DACs currently on the market.
The DAC I have (and this seems to be the case for most 8ch DAC chips I have found) has the following pinouts:
PinPCM ModeDSD Mode
1LRCLKCh 1
2Ch 1-2Ch 2
3Ch 3-4Ch 3
4Ch 5-6Ch 4
5Ch 7-8Ch 5
6not used for PCMCh 6
7not used for PCMCh 7
8not used for PCMCh 8

You would notice that the LRCLK pin in PCM is re-used for the data 1 DSD stream and the ch 7-8 PCM pin is re-used for the data 5 DSD stream while the mchstreamer does not reuse the LRCLK PCM pin and DSD data 4 is used for PCM ch 7-8, etc.
So if I was to make this work I need additional hardware to do switching/selection.

Any chance you could release another firmware with adjusted pinouts?
Here is a link to the datasheet of one current DAC chip for reference: www.akm.com/akm/en/file/datasheet/AK4458VN.pdf

Thanks!
