I have read and to my best followed the description here: www.minidsp.com/applications/headphone-e...q-headphone-database, and used method A "Using default correction filters". I found the PEQ settings for my headphones (Stax SR-009) and entered the values one by one as described in the Device Console. But, the sound was not correct. I have more volume in the left speaker i.e. voices are not in center of the soundstage. The PEQ works, but not as expected. What have I done wrong? With no filter active the soundstage is OK.
For sure the sound in my Stax headphones is high end without PEQ. Experimenting is fun, therefore I tried.
