Has anyone tried this pairing? For some reason my balanced Flex running into the balanced line on my Freya + is producing no sound. I run the lines from the Flex straight into the amps and there are no problems. I have tried with zero gain, the SSD gain and the tubes on the + and nothing. I have the Flex wide open too.

Thanks,

Bryan

I figured out it isn’t going to work. I have the flex set up to process my two front channels and sub. There’s no way to route the Flex’s sub output through the Freya and back to the sub. Now I’m going down a rabbit hole for my living room setup…

I have a similar setup except instead of a preamp I have an integrated amp (Krell Kav300i). The best solution to use with active subwoofer was to apply the gain (volume) that I need constantly from the integrated let's say 70% in my case. And then using the SHD (my case) to manage the volume of everything, I reach listening levels too high already at -15db. I am super happy since I use it this way.
