Hi, I'm coming to minidsp flex with Dirac from audessey. After running measurements, I feel like my front speakers aren't time aligned with each other.

With audessey they sounded like a single source from a phantom center, but now during playback I keep looking at each speaker because they don't sound synced.

Does Dirac do time alignment?

I think you maybe need to get better at Dirac and getting the pre tune done properly.

if your just running a Dirac session with all kinds of issues it’s going to fix the sums of the issues as well…

yes is does TA , I would do as much of that ahead of time tho , get a good crossover ahead of time and maybe leave 2 Eqs for after Dirac smoothing to taste….

best of luck , you’ll get it , it works quite good

Does Dirac do time alignment?

Yes, provided the option to do so is selected in the software - which it is by default.

I thought Audyssey was for multi channel setups whereas the Flex is for stereo so I'm slightly wondering if there may be a different issue here. What is the rest of your setup?

Audyssey is intended for multichannel, yes, but it still does what it's supposed to whether it's 11.4.4 or 2.1, which is my case - just 2 speakers and a sub.
