What I'm looking for: a room correction device between my current pre-amp and amplifiers. Balanced in-balanced out to two mono amps and a subwoofer.

I am not looking to replace my current preamplifier or dac.

The Flex balanced would seem to fit the bill, but does it? Can it be set to a fixed output, for instance?

Any plans for a Flex that is balanced but lacks the preamplifier functionality? Something with a trigger to turn it on and off would be even better.

Thanks in advance for your insights.

An introduction to my current setup could provide you with valuable insight. Here is how my system is configured: I have a media server (Mac mini) connected via USB to the miniDSP/Flex, which serves as both a DIRAC and a DAC. From there, the audio signal goes to the tube preamp (Audible Illusions) and then to the tube power amp (CJ LP66S). This setup has been exceptionally satisfying for me, especially since I acquired the miniDSP/Flex with Dirac License for room correction (12'x 36' x 10' slanted ceiling) in December 2021 (pre-ordered). It's worth mentioning that I connected the miniDSP/Flex before the pre-amp stage to utilize DAC in it (no hum and dead quite). hope this will help you, good luck.
