Hi,

I own the Flex Digital with Dirac and in general like it a lot.

What annoys me pretty much though, is that it is only possible to go through sources in one direction. I am using only two, but switching to the first one always means to press the input button multiple times. I would prefer to be able to directly select a specific source.
In the manual I found the description for learning IR commands. The Flex is recognizing codes from a multi-device NAD remote I have, which is great, but the respective dialog in the DDRC-24 also only has "Next input". What I am also missing there is "On/Standby".

Alternatively I thought about getting a Logitech Harmony, which is described in the manual as well. But they are out of (that) business since 2021 I just learned so that is no option either.

Thanks,
Mo

Argh. After having tried learning the Flex teaching codes (but having replaced by the default again), the "auto-repeat" for volume has gone. Now I need to press one for 0.5dB steps. Is that a known issue?

Are you aware that if you have inputs that you don't use you can stop these being in the options that a scrolled to so you can get to what you want faster? Not what you really want I know but if you haven't done this it will still be an improvement.

After rebooting the device this issue is fixed.

Thanks @ultrasonic. That would indeed be an improvement. I am not able to find that option in the Flex manual or DDRC-24. Where should that be?

In Device Console there is an option towards the bottom on the left-hand side labelled Customize Selection. Deselect the inputs you don't want to use.

Device console was completely not on my radar, thanks. Have found and modified.

I think this is similar to issue and topic I was going to post on which is presets need to be for not just "profile" of room corrections / cuves etc...  but also settings defined for other presets:

1) Need to pin default and return each profile to defined "input"  Ex:  preset 1 = analog,   preset 2 = bluetooth etc..
2) Needs to pin default volume level:  Ex:  preset 1 = -12db   preset 2 = -1db  (this is issue as bluetooth is 3 x lower volume then Analog from pre-amp source)

this would allow single button press (or like I have... black bean IR transmitter where it plays sequence to turn on reveiver, TV, amp, Flex, preset 1, etc.  when you hit "movie" button"
Is there a form or format to make feature enhancement request?
