I have an annoying problem with my Flex Balanced. Sometimes when I press the volume down, it goes up. This is very annoying when it is playing too loud and I want to attenuate that quicky. It gets even louder FAST. Just a couple of minutes ago it happened again and it went screaming loud and even pressing volume down several times it went louder and louder until I hit the mute button that saved my speakers.

Anyone who recognises this and has a solution for this?

PS. Is there a way (like the DDRC24 could) to learn other remote controls? I would love to use my trusty Rotel remote for the MiniDSP Flex instead of the very thin MiniDSP remote.

This happened to me as well, Flex 8 with Dirac. The up arrow key would also switch inputs or channel if that was the last button I used. Volume was often backwards. Tech support ended up sending me a new remote…..but while it was shipping the problem kept getting worse so I tried a new battery and the problems stopped. 

Thank you for your information. My unit is very new, so a empty battery should not be the problem. I have re-seated the battery and will replace it soon, to make sure that is not the problem.

I have this too randomly on shd, while I thought it was fixed on old plugins.
Not sure but I think it's when I use up&down alternatively very fast.
