The new Flex HT seems to have a lot of new features.  But have you dropped FIR crossover and filtering capability out of it?

I understand that those of us concerned with phase coherent crossovers are a small minority of your customers, but is FIR capability basically being abandoned moving forward?

Also, has the internal and DAC sample rate in the Flex HT been dropped from 96kHz to 48 kHz?

It would seem so.

BTW, you don't need FIR filters for phase-coherency.  Only for phase-linearity.
Phase-coherency is a rather nebulous term.  It basically means signals from tweeter/mid/woofer/whatever arrive at your ears at the same time.  You can achieve that without being linear-phase.

Dave.
