Device sonsole states that there is an firmware update available and asks permission to install. After giving permission it returns a long failure message.
I was hoping this update would solve my usb connection trouble,
Right now firmware is 1.53 and dsp 1.3

anyone having luck on updating? Is there an other way to update or download the .bin files somewhere?

I suggest you contact miniDSP Support via the link at the top of the page, providing details of what the 'long error message' says.
