I've noticed during testing with the console that if I change the settings on the Flex-8 using the remore, the changes don't necessarily get reflected in the console...is this to be expected?

An example: if I have the console open, and I switch to using a different window (the web browser for example), and then change to a different preset using the remote, when I change back to viewing the console, the "Preset slot changing" popup is displayed indefinitely until either I change the preset again using the remote, or close & reopen the console.

I'm also finding that the console and the Flex-8 can get out of sync when I've done a Dirac calibration and exited from Dirac...I will try to get a clearer picture for you of what happens under what circumstances!

More on Dirac behaviour...When you do a Dirac calibration and return to the console, the Flex-8 is (obviously) still set for USB as the source. If you try to switch to Toslink (say) using the console, nothing happens on the Flex display but the Console shows Toslink. Switch back to USB on the Console and then back to Toslink and it works.

@ Tony_J

I'm sure that our engineers would love to hear more on these and troubleshoot. As usual, please use a support ticket portal (support.minidsp.com) to contact our team officially so they can get logs (support.minidsp.com/support/solutions/ar...p-device-console-dc-) /debug and exact steps. They can take it from there to figure out the scenario..

As a general warning, Flex can't really get controlled by Dirac Live and miniDSP DC together. Best to close the interface when you do that.
