Given where it's positioned, it would be easiest to leave it on (not on standby). But it does get reasonably warm when doing this even when there's no music playing.

Some definitive guidance as to what's safe / recommend would be great! Thanks

We leave car stereos on our display 24/7 at my store with no big problems….

i think it will be fine, but as with anything wear n tear, do you really want it on all the time…..

i don’t know how much it would shorten its life (if at all) so it’s a risk you’ll take on your own…

i have a server computer that has been running 24/7 since 2004…. Still works fine, I replaced the power supply once, but the computer itself works perfectly….. so …….

short answer, it’s probably fine….. but I personally wouldn’t unless I had to…. I would find a way to switch it off , a timer, a pir sensor to trigger a timer… something… but I also love my audio gear

if it was a tv I wouldn’t care and just do it

i mean , what’s the worst case ? Buy a new flex in a few years …. So what … that’s no big deal and a good reason to buy the next best thing

do it
