I actually sit far enough from the unit that it's difficult to read all of the display, like its input and preset info, in its general mode. You have to press a button to get the "focused," enlarged display for that mode. And pressing the preset buttons or the input button to get the focused view has a more disruptive effect than is ideal.

Thank you. The display's "mostly off" behavior is quite irritating. The timer should at least be variable as an option. For my use case it would be ideal if it stayed on while there is signal and started the off timer when there is no signal.

N.B. The choice of display technology (OLED etc.) is an implementation detail; if it prevents an "always on" option, the manufacturer should reconsider their choice.

I also need the screen to stay on function. After flipping through the FLEX manual, I found that there is no such setting. It's really disgusting
