I have a DDRC-24 and am contemplating the analog Flex.  The LED would be nice and manual volume control as well as built-in BlueTooth.  All good upgrades.

But what about the internals?    Are the internal updates worth the upgrade?  Specifically, does the Flex finally get rid of the hiss from the 2x4HD and DDRC-24?  That always bugs me about the DDRC-24.  It seems frustrating to me to buy a product from a company where "all sales are final" and a piece of equipment designed to improve your audio adds in a high-frequency hiss.

If the Flex eliminates this then it is worth it to me.  Anyone with first-hand experience on this?
