Do you foresee the Flex piece eventually having the Bass Control functionality?

Are you asking about Dirac Live Bass Control?

Sorry about that - Yes, do you think your Flex hardware will eventually have the ability to run the Dirac Live Bass Control?

I know that some of the AV Receivers can do it if the hardware has been configured for it.

I don't work for miniDSP. My guess is that we won't be seeing DLBC on a Flex any time soon, and it may not even be technically possible. The important difference being that AVRs have dedicated subwoofer channels whereas Dirac Live on miniDSPs just has left and right channels.

Thank you so much!
That is very helpful - I really don't know much about how DLBC works on the AV units - great point about the dedicated subwoofer channels. I'm using a MiniDSP 8x12DL in my car (and we are hoping that some day DLBC will be in this platform). In my 2 channel set up, I have a music server that feeds a Naim SN3 integrated amp with 2 REL T7x subs that are connected to the speaker posts through a high level connection.....so even if the Flex had DLBC, now I'm seeing that I'd have to use low level connection to the two subs (if the Flex had RCA outputs for main speakers and RCA outputs for subwoofer channels). I'd have to balance positives and negatives there. Thank you again for your reply!
