What's with the GND connector at the backplate?
Is there a chance to use it as a Phono preamp with digital RIAA filter?

Regards,
KW

I'm going to say no - you need a very high gain input (40 to 60 db depending on cartridge) for a phono preamp, in addition to the RIAA filter. MiniDSP devices don't have that.
