Hi Everyone,

Version 1.17 is now available and contains updates to measurement averaging and the Direct Design mode..
eclipseaudio.com.au/fir-designer/release-notes/

Measurement Averaging is now out of Beta and officially ready. Averaging sessions can be loaded and saved: the session file includes references to all the measurement files, averaging weights, use & polarity flags, and time delay adjustments, and can be edited offline in a text editor Measurements don’t need to have the same sample rate as the project, and the averaging automatically adapts when the project “Design sample rate” is changed.

There is a new complement "Cmp“ option on the Magnitude Design tab for Bessel and Butterworth filter prototypes, when they are set to linear phase. This option is useful for creating loudspeaker crossover target responses that sum correctly to unity. Previously, only Linkwitz/Riley filters could be used as targets that sum to unity.

Kind regards,
Michael
