The entire unit is too narrow to measure many headphones correctly. My Beyerdynamic headphones need to be clamped in place with rubber bands to measure corrwctly, no matter how well I seat them on the jig. I get accurate results with them if I lay the entire unit on its side so it pushes down on the headphones.

Future jigs NEED to either be wider (or adjustable width), or simply come with a spacer of some sort, like rubber rings/pads to place around the ear on the opposite side of the one you're measuring, making the head "wider". I have tried fixing this by putting extra ear pads over the opposite ear to push the headphone out a bit, which also works.

Also, if pushed too loud, the jig will measure very sgrangely, so don't distort the EARS unit!

@MF_Kitten

Thanks for the feedback / Odd to hear this issue as we haven't seen this here with the cans we're using... Maybe we're using different size..
We'll see in the future how we can change the size of the enclosure in the middle. That's a simple fix for future version to make the whole jig wider.

Indeed. The average human ear distance is 20cm while the ears has a distance of about 13.5 cm. I can only measure one ear cup at a time with many cans and even with those that fit, the sound most likely is different from human experience due to lack of pressure against the earpads. I'm especially having problems with larger higher-end headphones from Stax and Audeze. My current solution is to insert a roll of tape on one side and measure only the opposite side, but that is far from ideal. In the current iteration, I guess it's made to measure headphones for kids only ;.)
