Hi devteam,
Since the battery is dead, I'm using my HA-DSP just as a DAC and I'm trying to squeeze the highest sound quality out of it from my desktop.
From the user guide, it appears that the SHARC DSP is running at 96 kHz. What sample rate is the DAC running at? I presume fixed at 96 kHz to match the DSP?
However the user guide also shows how the sample rate is configurable on macOS and Windows. Does the PC sample rate setting only affect the USB connection to a sample rate converter just prior to the SHARC DSP?
I guess more broadly, can you outline the signal flow and where sample rate conversion occurs, from the PC through to the ESS Sabre DAC?

For example
PC Audio over USB -> SRC -> SHARC DSP @ 96 kHz -> ESS Sabre @ 96 kHz

Best regards,
Michael
