I currently have a mini dsp hd controlling 4 subs in my theater. I want to update my receiver to Marantz Cinema50 with dirac live. My question is will the dirac live calibrate the 4 subs along with the speakers or should I leave the mini dsp on the subs and tell dirac live that there is only one sub in the setup and let dirac live calibrate it to the mains.

hi,

i've 4 subs running on my 4x10 hd and first do all sub settings in REW so they work as a virtual 1 sub.
my DDRC88d/BM dirac calibrates the 1 sub channel and thinks it is 1 sub.
this setup has worked for me great so in my opinion leave the minidsp in the chain.
i've to say i don't know the features on the Cinema50. measure, test and listen...
hope this helps.

You might also want to consider using Multi-Sub Optimiser (MSO).
