Any tips and trick to get a higher output from my system?
Sound has much approved (Buchardt A500), imaging and clearness in sound, but volume is now limited with the ddrc22d in de digital chain I I believe because of needed headroom).
Any tips how to get higher output?
Kind regards,
Gerwin

This is the nature of the Dirac Live configuration scheme.
To get the -10db back just remove the extra headroom and monitor for clipping.  If you don't get any, then problem solved.

Some more info. would help. What is your full signal chain from DDRC-22D to A500? Where are you adjusting volume? Was your system loud enough in some other configuration that didn't use your miniDSP?
