Hi

Bit of a noob here. Just done my second Dirac measurement and filter. I'd assumed direc would give a much smoother response, but though it has tamed a significant mode at about 50Hz (And eliminated Bass Boom as a result) the rest of the response looks similar to Dirac turned off.

Small room (3mx4m) carpeted, but two glass walls.

REW measurements taken from the center of the "tight" measurement box. Psychoacoustic smoothing. Umik 1 used for REW and Dirac. Is this what I should be expecting?...

Bear in mind that what Driac targets is a smooth response when averaged over the measurement volume, not specifically at the central measurement position.

I wouldn't recommend the results for listening to music, but purely as a test it is possible to just make the central measurement in Dirac and then generate filters. If you do so, apply them, and then make a measurement in REW you will find the result is smoother. Nobody has both ears at a single location though  .
