The DDRC-24 is behaving in an unexpected way

Hello.
I installed DDRC-24 on my PC as well as the Dirac software. I obtained the license from the website in an E-mail from MiniDSP and started up my Dirac software from the DDRC-24 panel.
The Dirac software starts fine, I can choose to connect to the MiniDSP-HD I have, but after opening the Dirac, I get a message saying
'Cannot control the DDRC-24
The DDRC-24 Is behaving in an exepected way and may be out of synch with the Dirac live application
Restart the DDRC-24'

I already tried re-installinng everything. from the drivers to the DDRC-24 and and even the Dirac application
I have also tried downgrading the Dirac to older version but still no good
Regardless, I looked online and theres not really a solution in sight.
Is there anythign I can do?
