Hi All
I have some questions regarding zones for a DDRC-88BM Dirac device .  First, what are zones and why are there two to start off with? I have used Dirac before with my SHD system and I have not seen a "zone" in the device selection process before. What are these Zones?  I read in the Dirac manual "If you are using a multichannel processor and have created more than one zone, select the zone that you want to calibrate:" as a little history I recently purchased a DDRC-88D second hand and don't know if the previous owner had setup zones.  Maybe  these are separate configurations like the 4 Dirac configurations in the plugin?  Some threads talk about zones as rooms but I cant find any documents to get a better understanding of what zones are. Any help would be much appreciate. Thank you.

OK, Found some additional information in the Dirac manual pg. 9

CHANNEL CONFIGURATION (MULTICHANNEL PROCESSORS ONLY) This section applies to multichannel processors only. You will need to do this before you run the DiracLive app for the first time. Start your processor’s plugin and click on the Connect button. Click on the Display menu in the plugin. The menu options will vary depending on your specific product. Select the “Dirac Channels Configuration” menu entry: Use the screen that pops up to set up your speaker configuration. For example, below is a typical setting for a 5.1 system using small speakers: Sequence This is the order in which channels are measured. Zone No. You can create up to 8 zones. Each zone is calibrated separately. Channel Select the Dirac Live channel. If a channel is not being used, set this to “Unused.”
