Reading the Dirac Live Bass Control (DLBC) documentation, it mentions that they have a feature where they can reroute low frequency/omnidirectional signals to a different speaker if they measure detrimental room modes.

Right now, I'm using a DDRC-22D as my primary source on some KEF LS50 Wireless IIs. My listening space is in a condo on the top floor, so I have no need/desire for going any lower than what these speakers provide. I don't need a subwoofer. They happily get to 40Hz as is, at the volume level I need. Going any lower would just annoy my neighbors.

The room is very asymmetric, with my right speaker next to an open door, and then a short wall, and my left speaker next to a long wall. This causes a big imbalance in the speakers. My DDRC-22D helps hugely with this problem.

However, I also have a big issue with imbalanced room modes, especially around 55Hz. Since my right speaker has an open door next to it, a lot of that unwanted bass energy goes into my kitchen, whereas my left speaker, it just bounces around (This is readily apparent looking at the measurements). Moving all the 55Hz signal to my right speaker should really help cut down on the room modes. This sounds like a perfect match for DRBC feature.

However, I'm a confused on how I get that feature.

Can DRBC be applied to 2 channel setups (via optical)?
Can DRBC be used with a DDRC-22D? If not, what would be the minimum piece of hardware I'd need to accomplish this?

DLBC is not currently available on any miniDSP products but I also don't think it would be of any use for you in your current system anyway. The point of it is to help integrate subwoofers.

It's not obvious to me what you're trying to achieve that Dirac Live won't already be doing its best to address anyway, but perhaps if you were able to share some data it might be clearer? Note that applying different filters to each speaker is something that Dirac Live does, so it there is reason to significantly reduce the 55 Hz output from one speaker then this will be done.
